DXB – Perimeter

Smartworld designed and built 26 km state of the art, electronic perimeter intrusion detection and alarm systems that enable monitoring and protection of Dubai International Airport perimeter.

The solution consists of multiple layers of security as follows: Buried Fence mounted Long Range Fiber System, Thermal Fixed CCTV cameras with Video Analytics for intrusion assessment, PTZ Thermal CCTV cameras with Video Analytics for automatic intruder tracing in real time, and Radar System to protect perimeter buildings’ roof.

DXB – Terminal 1 Upgrade

Smartworld designed and built ICT and ELV packages for DXB Terminal 1, which serves more than 60 international carriers that operate into DXB and offers capacity to accommodate more than 20 million passengers annually.

Smartworld was the master systems integrator for the systems and was responsible to ensure complete migration of the services running on the network. Scope included the following systems and services: Computer Network Equipment, Structured Cabling Network, Wireless Data Network, Voice Over Internet Protocol, Internet Protocol TV, Flight Information Display System, IP Closed Circuit TV, Security Access Control System, Fire Alarm System, Public Address System, Audio Visual System, Radio System, Master Clock System, Building Management System, Building Integration System, and Master System Integration.

AMIA

DWC – Al Maktoum Intl Airport

Smartworld designed and built ICT and ELV packages for DWC Al Maktoum International Airport Passenger Terminal. Built south of the city, close to the fast-growing areas of “new Dubai”, DWC lies at the heart of an entire airport city. Once completed, this airport will be the world’s largest global gateway with capacity for more than 160 million passengers per year.

Smartworld was the master systems integrator for the systems and responsible to ensure complete migration of the services running on the network. Scope included the following systems and services: Structured Cabling Network, Communication Equipment Room Fittings, Computer Network Equipment, Wireless Data Network, Data Communication, Terminal System Integration, Radio, Media Hardware, Public Address System, Master Clock System, Security and Access Control System, Video Surveillance, and Disable Toilet Alarm.

DXB Terminal 2

DXB – Terminal 2 Expansion

Smartworld designed and built ICT and ELV packages for DXB Terminal 2, home to Dubai’s budget airline flydubai, which launched operations in 2009. At present some 50 airlines operate out of this terminal and the capacity of arriving and departing passengers is 1200 peak hours, respectively.

Smartworld was the master systems integrator for the systems and was responsible to ensure complete migration of the services running on the network. Scope included the following systems and services: Computer Network Equipment, Structured Cabling Network, Wireless Data Network, Voice Over Internet Protocol, Internet Protocol TV, Flight Information Display System, IP Closed Circuit TV, Security Access Control System, Fire Alarm System, Public Address System, Radio System, and Master Clock System.

DXB Concourse C

DXB – Concourse C

Smartworld designed and built ICT and ELV packages for DXB Concourse C, which serves Dubai Airports Terminal 3.

Smartworld was the master systems integrator for the systems and responsible to ensure complete migration of the services running on the network. Scope included the following systems and services: IP Closed Circuit TV, Security and Access Control System, Computer Network Equipment, Master Intercom System, Public Address System, Wireless Data Network, Fire Alarm System, Building Management System.

DXB Terminal 3

DXB – Terminal 3

Smartworld installed self check-in and bag drop kiosks in First, Business and Economy class areas at DXB Terminal 3. The new self-service bag drop machines and self-service kiosks complement the desks manned by Emirates check-in agents to reduce waiting time for customers during peak periods and improve the customer experience in Dubai.

Emirates’ passengers can use the touchscreen to check in, print their boarding passes, drop their bags, or operate the kiosks contactlessly from their mobiles. While Emirates staff will be on hand for any assistance required, the facilities are fully self- service, allowing customers to breeze through the airport and proceed directly to immigration.

DWC AMIA VIP Terminal

DWC – VIP Terminal

Smartworld designed and built ICT and ELV Systems for the world’s largest VIP terminal located in Al Maktoum International Airport.

Scope included the following systems: Structured Cabling Network, IP Closed Circuit TV, Fire Alarm System, Security and Access Control System, Perimeter Surveillance.

DXB Plus RCF

DXB Plus RCF – Arrivals

Smartworld installed ICT, Security and ELV Systems for DXB Plus – Remote Coaching Facilities – Arrivals. The new building will be developed to cater for the forecasted increase in operations based on the expansion of Dubai International Airport and Emirates Airlines fleet.

Smartworld installed ICT & ELV Systems in AMMROC, which provides industry-leading maintenance, repair & overhaul (MRO) services & integrated military logistics support for the military & civil aviation.

Scope included the following systems: Structured Cabling, Active Data Network, Wireless Network, IP Telephony, IP CCTV, Access Control System, Intercom System, Digital Signage System.

Expo 2020

Expo 2020

Smartworld, in collaboration with Cisco, designed and implemented a smart network infrastructure for Expo 2020 Dubai, the first World Expo to be held in the Middle East, Africa and South Asia (MEASA) region.

Smartworld deployed parts of Expo’s digital IP network infrastructure, including Cisco® intent-based networking solutions. The solution supports the digital experience and over 100,000 IoT devices during Expo.

Jumeirah Emirates Towers

Jumeirah – Emirates Towers

Smartworld installed Security Systems in Jumeirah Emirates Towers. JET is considered one of the most prestigious and important building in the UAE. It contains some top VIP offices such as PM Office H.H Ruler of Dubai and Executive council plus many consulates and private offices.

Scope included the following systems: IP Closed Circuit TV, Access Control System, Speed Gate, CAME Gate Barrier, HID Visitor management System.

Nakheel Mall The Palm

Nakheel – The Palm Mall

Smartworld installed ICT and ELV systems in Nakheel Mall The Palm. The new centerpiece of the world-famous Palm Jumeirah, Nakheel Mall is inspired by luxury and set to become Dubai’s most premium lifestyle shopping, dining and entertainment destination.

Scope included the following systems: Structured Cabling System, Active Data Network, Wireless Network, IP Telephony, IP CCTV, Access Control System, Audio Visual System, Broadcast System, and Theatrical Lighting.

Le Louvre Abu Dhabi

Smartworld installed ICT Systems for the iconic Le Louvre Abu Dhabi, which is a new cultural beacon, bringing different cultures together to shine fresh light on the shared stories of humanity.

Scope included the following systems: Structured Cabling, Active Data Network, Network Management System, and Intelligent Infrastructure Management System.

Meraas – Dubai Harbour

Smartworld installed ICT and Security Systems for Dubai Harbour. Inspired by the Gulf’s long tradition with the sea, Dubai Harbour will be an iconic, innovative and luxurious waterfront development, creating a world-class maritime facility with the biggest and most advanced cruise terminal and marina in the region.

Scope included the following systems: Structure Cabling Network, IP Closed Circuit TV, Wireless Date Network, Computer Network Equipment, Public Address System, UPS, Parking Manage System, Gate Barrier, Bollard System.

Jumeirah Burj Al Arab

Jumeirah – Burj Al Arab

Smartworld installed Security System (Road Blocker) in Jumeirah Burj Al Arab. This was used to control egress and ingress of cars and to stop any suspected vehicles approaching the gate of this signature hotel of Dubai. The System was integrated with Access Control and provided with override button for the top emergency cases.

Scope included the following systems: Thermal Surveillance and Perimeter Protection.

Meraas – Dubai Parks & Resorts

Smartworld installed ICT System in Dubai Parks & Resorts. DPR is the Middle East’s largest integrated theme park destination, featuring Montiongate Dubai, Bollywood Parks Dubai, Legoland Dubai and Legoland Water Park, all in one incredible location.

Scope included the following systems: Outside Plant Fiber Optic, Infrastructure Cabling, Structured Cabling Network.

ADEK

Department of Education & Knowledge

Smartworld implemented 24/7 IT Managed Services in ADEK. Smartworld provided the helpdesk and onsite school support services to 300 plus ADEK sites including schools, adult centers and sports halls in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Western region. Smartworld also deployed and continue to support the ADEK non-technical call center.

ALEF

ALEF Education

Smartworld enables support services for 143 schools across Abu Dhabi Emirates. These include provisioning of 179 staffs to support schools Infra, Centralized Service Desk and ALEF Education HQ operations. Smartworld also addresses inventory & logistics requirements and adhoc services like Deployment of Wi-Fi and Passive Infrastructure in schools.

Higher Colleges of Technology

Higher Colleges of Technology

Smartworld deployed Shahada, a digital certificate protocol built on Blockchain technology, in Higher Colleges of Technology. The solutions enables HCT to publish Graduates’ e-Credentials on Blockchain Platform. Students, new graduates and alumni of HCT can get rapid access to their official HCT documentation. Employers, or any entity, looking to verify HCT graduates’ credentials can do so via the official HCT website.

University of Dubai

University of Dubai

Smartworld implemented Shahada, a digital certificate protocol built on Blockchain technology, in University of Dubai. The solution allows University of Dubai to have instant and effective creation, generation, and issuance of academic credentials on blockchain, that are tamper-proof and can be easily shared and verified by employers or any entity.

Smartworld implemented and continue to support 24/7 IT Managed Services in UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Headquarters Abu Dhabi, U.A.E. More than 700 plus Desktops were procured, installed and are supported across 120 plus UAE embassies and consulates round the globe which are used by key diplomats and consular.
